About Dr Bahrie Veliu
I am a clinical psychologist and Family Court specialist with over 15 years’ experience, working at the intersection of psychology and family law.
My work focuses on supporting children, families, and professionals navigating high-conflict situations, with the aim of creating conditions that protect
and promote children’s developmental needs.

I am guided by both evidence and a commitment to reimagining how professionals and systems can collaborate more effectively.
A core part of my work involves translating research and lived experience into practical, accessible strategies that professionals across disciplines
can apply in their everyday practice.

Alongside my clinical work, I provide training, consultation, supervision, and writing that bridge the gap between research and practice.
I design and deliver workshops and keynote presentations for lawyers, judges, mediators, psychologists, and other Family Court professionals.
My work centres on children, conflict, attachment, parental behaviour, and developing systemic, child-centered solutions.
